Engaging the community to improve

children's health in Hampton Roads

About Us

As the leading regional children's health coalition in Hampton Roads, CINCH is made up of a diverse group of children's advocates, concerned citizens and organizations representing health and human service agencies, local universities, hospitals, managed care organizations, community and faith-based organizations from across Hampton Roads.  Visit our Partners page to view a complete listing of participating organizations.  The work of our coalition is typically organized into workgroups by specific health issue.  Visit our Initiatives page to learn more about our current workgroups and priority health issues.

Our primary aim has always been to bring community organizations together to positively impact policies, systems and environments that affect the health of children and their families in our community.  With Eastern Virginia Medical School serving as our lead agency, CINCH is committed to using research and data to drive our initiatives which include education and training, advocacy and working with our partners to improve their programs and services. View The CINCH Story to learn more about our history and accomplishments.
